Overleaf is growing!
Overleaf continues to grow and we’re happy to introduce our 3 new Overleaf team members - Lee Shalit, Graham Douglas, and Liz Kluk.
Lee Shalit - Chief Operating Officer
Lee has joined Overleaf as our new Chief Operating Officer. She will be helping with legal and accounting matters, as well as the day to day operation of Overleaf. Lee is an accountant, lawyer, and entrepreneur, with 20 years experience working as a COO/CFO to Tech-Digital start ups, where she worked previously for Fintech, Digital Agency and Software companies. She’s passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship and sport. She’s run two marathons (Paris and Tel Aviv), done 2 Star scuba diving since she was 14 yrs old and served 2.5 years in the Israeli army.
Graham Douglas - Content Development Editor
Graham joined Overleaf as our new Content Development Editor, tasked with writing, commissioning and developing various forms of content for distribution via Overleaf’s blog, social media channels and so forth. He’s already published some amazing blog posts such as What's in a Name: A Guide to the Many Flavours of TeX, Taming LaTeX’s Page Layout: A Visual Template and Toolset for Book Authors, Overleaf for Book Production, and most recently a three part series on Boxes and Glue in TeX. You can check out our blog to read all of his excellent posts and follow Overleaf on Twitter for updates on new and forthcoming articles. Graham has worked in scientific/technical publishing for over 20 years in roles ranging from Senior Publisher, Consulting Acquisitions Editor through to positions in book/journal production, and programming—including 10 years at IOP Publishing (UK’s Institute of Physics) and 3 years with AIP Publishing (American Institute of Physics). He is now relishing the opportunity to combine his STM publishing experience and long-standing interests in TeX and TeXnology. He works from home in Bristol, UK, and is ably assisted by his two delightfully inquisitive, and yes, extremely vocal, Bengal cats.
Liz Kluk - Publishing & Institutional Sales Manager - Americas & Oceania
Liz joins Overleaf as our new Publishing & Institutional Sales Manager - Americas & Oceania. Liz was already familiar with Overleaf having worked at Digital Science for the past three years, and she’s hit the ground running at Overleaf by already developing a partnership with Michigan Technological University. If you would like to see an Overleaf institutional account at your institution - let us know and Liz can reach out to establish a partnership. She’s also an enthusiastic equestrian with a passion for science, technology, and learning.
