Overleaf Server Pro 5.1 is available
We are pleased to announce Overleaf Server Pro 5.1! This release includes security updates to the base image and installed packages, along with improvements and bugfixes. You can read the full release notes here.
MongoDB 5 is reaching the end of life in October 2024. All customers should upgrade to MongoDB 6.0. Check the official documentation for instructions. Please ensure you have a database backup before upgrading.
We advise all customers to upgrade to Server Pro 5.1 at their earliest convenience.
What’s new?
Server Pro 5.1 introduces the following features:
- SAML: multiple certificates are now supported. You can now set a list of comma-separated certificates in
OVERLEAF_SAML_SIGNING_CERT
andOVERLEAF_SAML_CERT
. - CSP (Content Security Policy) is now enabled by default.
- Optional Redis AOF Persistence: AOF (Append Only File) persistence is now the recommended configuration for Redis persistence. This is enabled by default for new setups and can be enabled for existing setups by following the steps in our documentation.
