Overleaf Server Pro 5.2.1 is available
We are pleased to announce Overleaf Server Pro 5.2.1! This release includes new features, security updates to the base image and installed packages, along with improvements and bugfixes. You can read the full release notes here.
We advise all customers to upgrade to Server Pro 5.2.1 at their earliest convenience.
What’s new?
Server Pro 5.2.1 introduces the following features:
- Admin capabilities can be granted via LDAP/SAML attributes.
- Chat can be disabled with
OVERLEAF_DISABLE_CHAT=true
. - SAML Audience can now be configured with
OVERLEAF_SAML_AUDIENCE
.
What’s fixed?
- Anonymous users accessing a project via read-write link were unable to create labels in the history panel.
- In some scenarios, users were unable to change the TeX Live version in the editor (Server Pro only).
- Searching users by domain now displays admin users.
Other changes
- Admin: a
num_active_users
metric with the count of active users is now available via/metrics
. - Admin: editor resources checks are no longer part of the Launchpad main screen.
